Not very well. To fix it, buy HPA. |

HPA is compressed air, also called nitro or nitrous by new players.

Anti-Siphons help prevent liquid C02 from entering the gun. They have to be installed professionally, and they cannot be interchanged between guns, due to the fact that different ASA's have different thread depths. The ASA the Anti-Siphon is designed to fit will orient the tube facing "up." If you try to use that tank on a different gun with a different ASA, the tube may be facing down, or to the side. If so, you will suck pure liquid C02. VERY bad. This pic explains an anti siphon. If you don't get the Ion, get a B2k4 w/PDS. They are the same price as an Ion, but require HPA, which the Ion should use anyway.

98% of ion owners think ions are better than any high end gun. If you would like to bonus ball these idiots put this in your sig.

If we cant exactly affor HPA right now, just get the anti siphon and use it on the Ion? Will that be okay?

It works better than straight C02, but noweher near as good as HPA. If you get a new reg, like the Stabilizer, your C02/Ion experience will be significantly better. |

Shooting CO2 at high rates of fire will not be good for your ION's internals. Your gun may start to freeze, and condensation will develop on the inside and outside of the marker. Your BEST solution is to use HPA. A Stabilizer and anti-siphon is the alternative if you really want to shoot CO2. |
