Stock Reg is fine, unless you see otherwise. The Crossfire 70/4500 is pretty nice.

Whats the difference between the Cross Fire and smart parts tank? They are both the same size, both have a guage.
I own several different brand CO2 tanks (BE, Chrome Moly & PMI) and they perform exactly the same. I see no differnce in any of the tanks. |

The tank is the same, there are only a couple on manufacturers of the actual tank out there. The big difference is the Regulator. BTW, you need to get the proper output regulator (High or Low Pressure). Each company's regs are set a little different, you may need to adjust your LPR or Dwell on a different tank. I ALWAYS set up my markers to a specific tank. The difference is even more evident when you get an adjustable regulator tank. That way you can sweet spot the tank output to where your marker likes to run. Smart Parts is not known for their tanks. Crossfire is an EXTREMELY popular brand (what I use) and works very well. PE's regs are not the best. The Dye Throttle is a great tank and the prices have finally come down. Nitro Duck works well. Conquest makes a great tank. The Evil Scion is actually a good tank as well. Anyway, a tank is a big deal. Good luck on your decision. |
