i really find stocks useless unless you are going for looks. you can just rest your HPA or CO2 bottle in the crook of your elbow but as for the flatline, it is a good barrel. So yea get it I guess but it's hella long |

Get whatever you feel will help your game. I don't like stocks so I'd have to say get the Flatty.

i have a m4 4 position stock (and the rest of the cammando kit)on my gun and i really thing a stock just lets you roll your gun to your elbow easier and it will be level already you just pick the left or right plus on the custom pro it has an 11" barrel already if you think you wont always need it a jcs folding stock is good or if your looking for accuracy and comfortability by a pro-team m4 6 position stockand if you want a solid check www.specialopspaintball.com for their A-5a2 stock but for the 98 Edited by ANARCHY_SCOUT |

stocks are pretty much useless IMO, just shoulder your tank.. Go for the flatline (I would actually take a 12" Lapco Bigshot over the flatline anyday but thats because I play as far up the field as I can get)

I personaly don't like Flatlines so I would say the stock, although as
with everyone else you should just rest your tank on your
shoulder. I would go with a lapco bigshot or J&J Ceramic if I
were you.

I've owned a flatline and wasnt too impressed with the accuracy. A normal barrel I found to be much more accurate no matter what paint ya put in it. It did help a lil in the woods, but I dont play in the woods all the time. Allot of play is open field with small houses and tubes. If your stricktly woods then yeah It would be a good thing to get. |

I wouldn't even bother doing that. I don't see what is so hard about using the tank as a stock...as is. |

hey, heres a different suggestion, if you want the flatline for its
range. get the new BT Apex barrel instead. it costs about 20 bucks more
but i think you'll be happier with it. the flatline for the 98 is a
pain. its not a fast install and if you break a ball in it, good luck
taking the barrel off to clean it during the game. not gonna happen.
the Apex barrel i has more range, yes, thats right, more range than the
flatline. not by much, but it will out shoot it. accuracy is about the
same as the flatline. and best of all, you just thread it on like a
normal barrel. it also gives yo the ability to curve your shots where
you want. i know, its crazy, but it works. i have used it, its amazing.
if i didn't have a flatline, i would be getting the Apex.
check it out. |

i would say the barrel because i would never get just a stock, i think it would look somewhat silly without at least a hand guard, if you want a stock save up for a whole scenario kit. It all depends on what barrel you want and what kind of play you do for the barrel. Let the experts know, im sure they can tell you. (im not an expert, i know what they have told me lol)

Yes it does. you might be able to add up to 50 feet. if you already own the flatline, the Apex probably won't be that must of a big deal. but if you don't not own the flatline and are considering the it, espically you M98 users out there, the Apex will accomplish the same thing, and you can take it on and off with ease. it doesn't have a curved barrel, easier to clean, easier on paint, not as picky. don't ask me how, i just know it does.
