I recentley had my 98 custom pc'd at a local shop.  I asked for a dark silver with clearcoat.  During the process the guy accidently burned on the clear coat and it gave my gun this effect.  the surface is rippled and also has a iradecent color.  The owner thought I would want it re-coated, but I think it looks cool.

ps. I have free hosting with my internet server, but when I paste the URL into the image box nothing shows up when I hit the post button.  The image is there when I preview post though

Dude that is awesome as hell. I would definately keep that. Hell i would almost pay the guy to "mess up" a gun like that.

Are the ripples raised off of the surface of the gun? If not that is hott! If so then I would probably recoat it...

the surface is barely raised.  not enough to be a bother.  the pc job is very clean, no blemishes or weak spots
