    Posted: 09 September 2005 at 11:48pm

i purchased an SL-68 II a few months back and decided to modify it a bit, first i hated the ASA "bump" right where your hand needed to be so i rerouted the air system into the handle and milled and filled the old one and made a chain drop. then the stock pump forearm looked a bit plain so i made a new one. lastly i hated the dinky feed neck so i sawed off the original and welded a larger one in it's place, then....paint and now i have what you see here. let me know what you think!

i also machined a CMI barrel to fit it but was too ashamed to post pics with it on it

Wow!

Thats awesome.

You know that sight block can be milled off too? You just have to replace that air line plug in the top.

That is friggin HOT. How did you smooth it out so good my SL-68 has lots of holes and roughness to it like a cast iron skillet.

But what I do I do because I like to do.

It looks like a mix between a disintegrator pistol and a death ray gun--which is a good thing!

Heres an idea... take a staple gun, and use it on your face...

Anyways, that gun rules, nicely done.
