In a sence, yes. The only real advantage is that you can put the E-trigger in it, where as the 98c you can't. And it also comes with a double trigger, drop forward, and an better barrel. So basicly, I would say it's better.

98 custom is basic i mean some people dont like double triggers or drop forwards (everyone likes a better barrel.)so it all depends what your going to do with it.
