it doesn't really make it shoot any faster, its just what you prefer for your grip on the trigger....if you want the trigger pull lighter, do the pen spring mod.

you replace the trigger spring with a mechanical pencil spring, you have to cut the pen spring for it to fit, it noticeably reduces the trigger pull. you can just search, theres got to be a good thread about this. Edited by ninety8freak |

That's what I'm trying to do with my trigger, and so far it works really well. |

Instead of replacing the spring just take it out, you don't need it.

would the gun work without the spring? If so why would the company even put it in the pb gun? I think you should just switch to the pen spring.

YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE TRIGGER SPRING! anyways you wont notice your gun shooting any faster with the trigger spring mod. it just makes the trigger easier to pull but you still have to trip the sear to fire the gun. So it doesnt really help at all. And it definately wont make your gun walkable so dont even expect it.

nope... pretty much impossible to walk a mech 98c without doing some heavy modding, and even then, it isnt so great.

just for the response trigger, cuase the piston is there to reset the trigger. If you don't have the response trigger, you'll need the spring. |

The sear will reset the trigger just fine, you don't need the spring. Just try it if you don't believe me, and you should really at least try it or know how the trigger mechanism works before correcting me.
