I recently bought the JCS Duel Trigger for my e-grip. I'm still having alot more trouble than I think I should with this. I've read and understand the instructions as well as searching for info on many forums and sites. It seems like no matter where I set the travel screw and sensitivity, it never has enough pressure to return the trigger fast enough, making it impossible to walk with any speed or consistency. I've spent a total of nearly three hours messing with this thing and it really seems like the springs are just way too weak. I've tried a longer pull, a shorter pull and no matter what, the trigger returns very slowly. Also, what is the best way to deal with the triggers over pull? Please help!!! I'm about to send this thing back!

I had these same problems, I just messed with it until I got lucky.
Don't return it though because once you get it working you'll never
regret it.
Check out the A5OG. The forum is shutting down but you can still search through the different sections. |

I've been through every post on the subject at A5OG. Was a little help, but not much. That was actually the first place I went for help, but thanks for the encouragement.

I had similar problems. Just make sure the inside adjustment screw (the one that applies to the second pin) is screwed in several turns so that the little bent nub is resting squarely on the middle of the sear switch. |

Also, you may need to back out the adjustment for the actual switch contact (the set screw with the bent end) in order for just the end of the set screw with the bent end to make contact using just its tip with the middle of the switch. Out of the package both of these adjustments (the trigger adjustment set screw/bent end) that makes contact directly with the electronic switch is in too much, and the other set screw in the trigger frame (not the one over the spring) is not in enough.

Okay, I just got home from work, so I'm going to look more carefully at where the nub is contacting the switch. I also noticed that my switch seems to facing the opposite direction of all the diagrams I've seen. Probably because of the WAS board, but that shouldnt be a problem, just go to the other side. NOW... what about over travel? I've seen a few ideas for stops, but I'd like a little advice. I don't much care for the grubscrew through the back of the trigger frame idea. I also saw someone had drilled and tapped the forwardmost part of the trigger and set a longer grubscrew through the travel adjust spring. Of the two I'd prefer this, however, I'm worried about it binding if the angle of the screw is not absolutely perfect. If someone who has made a stop for this trigger could help out, I would appreciate it alot.

i only read the first post, and was too lazy to read the rest of the posts but: i have this trigger, and it can be tricky sometime. if i read your post right, you want a faster trigger pull? take the springs out of the trigger, and strech them. NOT TOO MUTCH, but just enough. it will work like a charm i'm not too sure which spring you stretch out, i dont remember, but i think it is the one on the right, if the barrel of the gun is pointing to the left. |

I'm still not getting enough return. Even with a relatively long pull, every 4th or 5th shot, the trigger does not return and needs to be pushed forward. I just cant see how these extremely weak springs can return the trigger fast enough to walk, no matter the length of the pull. Also, any good ideas for stops with the JCS? |
