I bought a Tippmann 98, used it once, and then the next time I got to use it, its leaking. I go to my local paintbal dealer, and he says he can't fix it, and to send it back.

My word. This sucks.

It's probably something simple, so your dealer (whom I wouldn't ever buy anything from again) doesn't want to trouble himself with it. There is no part on a 98 that is expensive or hard to replace, 10 year olds can repair them after a little practice.

Your gun is still under warranty, call Tippmann for shipping instructions.

Yeah, we need to know where it's leaking from.  It could be just that your tank didn't have enough pressure to seal the valve closed.  It may not even be broken, but if it is, you can probably fix it yourself, or send it to Tippmann.

I had a gas leak in my Steel Braided Hose once. so I just isolated the leak, and dumped Lock-tite on it and, presto! No more leak.

It was something about the cub valve screw? He said when i got it, the tape rapped around the screw had a tiny hole in, and that was enough to  make it leak..   I just returned it and got a new one..

All you had to do was back the screws out, and wrap them w/ teflon tape or loctite. Any proshop that won't do that isn't much of a proshop.

Good Luck.
