Could someone tell me exactly how to install a macro line kit on a drop, and a Torpedo Regulator for my 98. I have the vertical adapter and all, I was just wondering exactly how to do everything. What do I need to tape and stuff? I mean the white plumbing tape. Thanks.

White plumbing tape = Teflon tape. Just take some and wrap it around your threads on the hose fittings.
Plug the ends of your macro line into the fittings that it comes with. |

Is there any way to hook up my reg without using a vertical adapter? Because I thought that it came in the mail today but it didn't. Like is there a way too take a steel braided hose and run it internally or a macro or something? because I have a game tommoroww and my gun is in pieces. Well all I have to do is run my macro to the reg. and connect my reg. to my gun, then thats all. So I'm really hoping my Vertical adapter come by tommorow.

Well when you install a vertical adapter, you need to let the loc-tite
sit for 12 hours (I think, maybe it's 24) before you put air pressure
in your system again. So looks like you're gonna have to do something
else for tommorow.
And if your reg has standard CO2-like threads, then you're not gonna be able to rig it up without another adapter. I would recommend you just re-assemble your gun the way it was before. Teflon tape is instant, so no problems there. As for macroline, just cut it off with a sharp knife in a straight line! Then after the macro-adapters are in the ASA and gun and whatnot, you just jam the macroline in there. |
