Im thinking of using HPA on my 98custom and I was wondering if this is
even possible to do without the internals exploding because of pressure
or something like that. Anybody who has done this explain how they got
this to work.

nothing bad will happen, co2 and HPA both have the same output pressure of roughly 800psi. all you need to use HPA is the tank.

Just make sure you buy a high output pressure tank. Because a low pressure tank probably would not work unless you get a low pressure kit.

Don't worry. Nothing at all will happen. Just make sure you get a High Presssure Ouput tank (~850 psi), and you're good.

^^^ All right. Get a high output tank to save you having to get a low-pressure kit. Good Luck |

as long as you have a high pressure tank you are good. Make sure it is high pressure becuase if it is a low pressure tank your gun will be hogged of air.

psst.....a co2 tank has pretty much the same output as a HPA tank. 850psi. So this blows your theory Other than that your advice was good, I would recommend a palmers male regulator or a bob long torpedo. Edited by Justice |

Re: Using the A-5 Or 98 with nitrogen.
Also, if you run multiple regulators, like a female ASA-style palmer stabilizer, and then a Sidewinder, your consistency will increase even more. So overall, high output nitro + regulator(s) + LP kit = best setup. And if you don’t like either of those options, you can run your A-5 or 98 with nitrogen, a regulator, and no LP kit. Hope you get it! Any more questions are welcome. P.S. -- I’m not really a nitro-specialist, I just put this post together from what I’ve learned. So instead of PMing me with questions, post it in this thread so everybody can see it. Good luck! Edited by Whazuuup! |
