hey every one im getting into the local tourney scene
and as such Im getting into the market for a good speedball gun. I have about 200-450 Canadian to spend on the marker and was wondering which of the 4 up there would be the best choice? ive got some requirements though A) i would like it to be reliable i dont mind maintenance tough i just wanna be sure that if something does go wrong i can fix it(also i dont mind learning how to time a cocker so thats not a problem) B) accurate C) a marker that has a future ie im alittle worried about the impulse seeing as i heard that SP is going to stop making them D) it would be nice if the marker could grow with me and continue to be competitive for some time(so it dosent need to outright rip yet) The prices ive found are impulse($450cdn) ion($350cdn) cocker(400$cdn) 05 prostock(300$cdn) on the 2k3 vision impulse there are the following mods -hyper Sport Works I-Frame really rare -Evil Respirator LPR -Evil Valve -Evil Bolt -Bob long torpedo regulator brand new not broken in yet -Halo no rise the ion is stock the cocker is an 04 prostock and has -a dart bolt -a Planet Eclipse ram (that's all he says its got) sorry if this is a common thread or if there are any spelling mistakes |

I'd go for the Ion. Theres going to be so many upgrades for them in the future, which seems to be partly what you're looking for. Not to mention that they're good out of the box.

Yeah, the '05 Prostock.
I've heard cockers are reliable, then you can find an E-Blade for cheap on eBay or somewhere, and buy that when you're ready. |

usually i wouldnt say ion, but with money being a major factor, an ion is just the best way to go, with so many great upgrades for tourney ball, like awesome boards, specialized triggers, all kinds of stuff and there is definately more to come. And you are going to need a hopper and Nitro so an ion will allow you to buy a good hopper and nitro, while the other guns wont.
