So, Friday my family and I left for New York, after deciding to come
that morning. (nothing big, we come at least once a year).  So we
left, and about 30 minutes into the 8 hour drive, the brake pads
started grinding.  So we waited 4 hours for those to be replaced,
and by then it was 6 P.M.  Well we got to Maryland at 11:30, and
decided to stop.  We went to my aunt and uncle's house, only to
find out that they were out of town.  So, we stayed in guest housing at Andrews Air Force Base.  Well I
couldn't sleep all night because of the noise.  So we left at 10
on saturday morning.  My mom misses her turn onto the jersey
turnpike, and we wind up having to turn around, putting us back another
20 minutes.  SO, we finally get to staten island, and find that
the people we are staying with are gone, so we wait another hour, by
the time we got here it was 5:00.

Who was it that had that thread about coming to NY this weekend?
