i'm looking to make a homemade low pressure kit. what all do i need to have? and do i need a lighter bolt, because i might get a stock soon and the lpk bolt is only rear cocking and i dont think it'll fit with it. so i was thinking about putting a dark horizon bolt in its place. will this work? but i know that there's some reason that dark horizon bolts dont work with response triggers- does this apply when the gun is low pressure? thanks |

get one of those titanium bolts and drill some holes in it. i think that will work.
EDIT: just thought about that, drill holes in titanium, real good idea... Edited by evillepaintball |

You could look on ebay to see if any one is selling just the low pressure valve from the low pressure kit. Why do you think the low pressure kit is a ripoff?

i don't think you can make one. just drilling holes isn't going to allow you to drop your pressure to 375 psi.
your palmer can do it, but a fatty would have been better. plus the LKP has been milled and weighed to exact specifications that i doubt any of us cna duplicate in our garages |

i'm not talking about drilling anything- just putting in like a lighter valve spring and bolt, but im not sure what else i need. Bruce A. Frank did it somehow, but he has an e-bolt and i dont know how to vary the setup to fit an rt.

You would need to mill out your valve to allow more volume through it, as
well as a lighter valve spring, lighter bolt, wider valve pin, and a volumizer. |

A volumizer is nothing more than an empty chamber that stores gas in it
close to the valve. Without the volumizer, your regulator and hoses going to the valve will not be able to allow a high enough volume of air into the valve for it to work correctly. If your direct regulator is screwed right into your valve, then no. You can't install a LPK without taking off your direct reg. |
