looking at a deal from a friend for a model 98. how does this differ from the model 98 custom? I had been looking before at the 98 custom do to the possiablities for upgrades. He is only asking $50 for the model 98.

Model 98 is slightly different. It has the gills, first of all. But the trigger guard also isn't removable, therefore, you cant get a double trigger, and the trigger spring is set up slightly differently. And Tippmann will have to retrofit the R/T, E-Bolt, etc. Get it if it's in working condition.
