ok i have a vigilante regulator on my tippmann and yesterday dove pretty hard on it and since then its been leaking.i have an expansion chamber sitting around and i was wondering, is it ok to use an expansion chamber on compressed air/ nitrogen (thats what i use) until i get my reg fixed? i need to know as soon as possible because we have a match saturday and dont wanna use my back up against this team

It will be fine. It won't do anything for the Nitro, but it won't hurt it either. Some people say it restricts airlow, but I haven't seen any proof of this, from people I can trust.

so, based on flow, would it be better to go to a gas thru grip which means not having a reg or exp chamber bacause i have one on my back up gun and i will snatch that sucker off lol.

I'd just use the X-Chamber. It will basicly just act as a gas through. And I'm pretty certain that it shouldn't interfear with gas flow.

Just dont use anything. Just run the hpa from your asa to your valve.
