taking off co2 tank

   Hi,
  Im new to paintball but have been reading a lot on this and 2 other forums to help me out on maintaining and just paintball in general.  I was wondering, when im removing my co2 tank i notice that it seems the tank (from getting cold) becomes hard to remove from the gun.  And after a certain point of tough unscrewing co2 finally leaks out.  When i connect the co2 tank to my gun through a remote i turn the remote end on the canister down so it pushes in the pin but when i go to turn the knob upwards the pin gets stuck.  Is this common?  If not what do i do to fix it?  Thanks and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!

	CO2 will leak from the tank when you unscrew it from the marker. The valve pin is disengaging as you are unscrewing causing you to lose a little bit of air.

	hmm i am not sure about your pin getting styck with the remote , if it is happening often i would bring it to a shop and have them take a look.

	would a little oil on the pin help a little?

	Ya try oiling the pin valve. If that doesn't work take it in to your pro-shop. Also, make sure you are dry-firing the gun as you unscrew your CO2 to make sure that it de-pressurizes properly.

	The Co2 isn't leaking from your tank. After you unscrew the tank about 1.5 turns, the pin valve shuts. You should then dry fire the gun in a safe direction and this will empty out the remaining Co2 in the gun. That's where all the Co2 you're seeing is coming from. It's the leftover gas in the plumbing and the valve. It isn't a bad idea to put a couple drops of Hopps-9 oil in the pin valve when the tank is empty. A drop or two on the threads before you screw it in will help make taking it off easier also.
