Topic: PLEASE HELP! (chop/skip) Posted: 02 January 2006 at 9:32pm |

Ok, im not sure what the problem is. I was hoping some people here can
help me.
I am chopping like crazy. I am shooting the stock mechanical trigger on
the CPro. Last time I played, i didn't chop a single ball. However i
was told that it was possible to outshoot a gravity feed hopper with a
mechanical trigger, so i tried to do so. Lo and behold i did. So i went
and bought an empire reloader 2 agitating hopper. Today i started
chopping like crazy. Also, when i shoot without the barrel (14"
teardrop) on and without paint, i get "snow" (frozen Co2) coming out
from the bolt port (im not using rocket cock, i have the open port on
the side of the gun). all the O-rings that i can see without taking
apart the valve/power tube on the inside of the gun after basic
disassembly are fine. Also, the gun is skipping every now and then (i
shoot, the bolt goes forward, and then doesn't make it back all the way
and is fired forward again, catching the sear the second time). I
checked the sear and it's fine. No obstructions in the bolt area.
PLEASE HELP!

Lets see make sure your bolt is clean no paint left in there check and see if theres any obstructions in the elbow and for the c02 part it was probably cold so the gas stayed as a liquid so it would be the best for your gun to change to HPA.

Also in upgrades and customizing....
The liquid c02 is because its cold out
The chopping is because of bad paint, and/or your outshooting your hopper.

Wait its skipping because of cold Co2?
Also, i wasn't outshooting my hopper (only shooting 5-8 bps on a 12-14
bps hopper.i think the detent might have been in backwards though,
fixed now. Would a tank cover help the cold co2 problem or is HPA the
only solution?
What do i need in order to switch to HPA? do i just need the tank or is there something else?

Enough with the multi-forum spamming already.
