Why is the A-5 better than the Custom Pro and is it worth the 100 bucks extra I would pay for it?

The main difference is the Cyclone feed. The A-5 somes stock with the Cyclone, the CP doesn't. The A-5 also can be field stripped, while the CP can't. But really, it's just personal preference. I'd go hold both, and see which one you like better. Both guns are great.

Just buy the cyclone for the Custom Pro and you basically have an A-5.

In my opinion a5 is great for woodsball. And inspite of what a lot of people say Cpro (what i have) is good for speedball. Niether are the best markers out there but i would stick with Cpro. Mainly because its pretty good for speed and woods ball. Also i wouldnt reccomend getting the cyclone because it only takes one hopper. I would just buy a good electric hopper like an egg and youll be just fine
Setup:
Marke:98 custom pro
Custop Products Flame drop
Barrel:12" SP Progressive
Hopper: Vieloader evolution II
98%of paintballers act gangsta if you are the 2%that are normal put this in your sig

Well, why is it a bad thing if it only takes one hopper?   If you somehow smash your cyclone feed hopper, it i'll cost you next to nothing while if you break a egg you'll be seventy dollars poorer.

First itll take you 60 or 70 bucks just to get the cyclone in the first place. Then you gotta install it. then it caps at 15bps the egg caps at 19. Also the egg is really reliable and durable. The only problem with the egg is the battery door. I have a friend who got the a5 and one with a 98c with a cyclone. Both are having the same problem the balls are bieng jammed in the cyclone not exactly stopping it but slowing it down a lot. Ive never had a problem like that with my egg.

Tip: if you own an egg this is for you. Put duct tape across the battery door before it breaks. If you get hit there it will stabilize it and take some of the shock out. Kinda like a seat belt.

Also the egg is really reliable and durable.  Its a tippmann part, theres a full warranty and its pretty much bulletproof. The only problem with the egg is the battery door. Cyclone = no batteries. I have a friend who got the a5 and one with a 98c with a cyclone. Both are having the same problem the balls are bieng jammed in the cyclone not exactly stopping it but slowing it down a lot.  Tell them to get a new ratchet or oil it, or maybe stop shooting cotton balls. Ive never had a problem like that with my egg.

Tip: if you own an egg this is for you. Put duct tape across the battery door before it breaks. If you get hit there it will stabilize it and take some of the shock out. Kinda like a seat belt. If you need duct tape to save a brand new piece of electronics its probably not worth your investment.
