Not sure. Look in to getting a V-Force though, they're highly recommended here.

Just between those two, it's hard to choose. They both look like awesome masks, and are the same price. So, I'd go for which one you like the best. But to really tell, try them on. Also check www.pbreview.com. |

Is the Proto FS Goggle System any good?
Don't mean to hijack your thread, 3 of my friends have the dye mask and they love it. "I've sold my soul to DYE" |

Actually, your mask is your single most important piece of equipment you have. For a beginner, anything that won't fog might be fine. But eventually you'll want to use something really nice. If your going to be wearing your mask all day, you better be comfortable in it. |

Get the Dye. I have that mask, and I love it more than any I've ever tried. ........now if I could just get a Dye gun.......... Anyways, get whatever makes you happy. Try them both on and see which one fits you better. I do love my Dye though.

Both are good, well made masks. Choose which ever is most comfortable on you. Don't listen to the kid who says "just get a mask, it doesn't matter what kind."

Most of the higher end masks won't fog on you. So it's really about comfort and style, also budget. And the mask is a very crucial part of your gear like FF said. How are you going to play good if you can't see out of your $10 Wal-Mart special (nothing against WM)? You aren't.

i rock a jt spectra in the olive green color, it never fogs and it is really light. it has minimal protection tho. for example, i got shot in the forehead thru my mask and visor setup. also my chin kinda hangs out a little. i forget it is ever on tho, great mask. i wish i wouldve gotten a flex instead though, to maybe get some lucky bounces, it seems like i am always getting shot in the head :( haha.
