No, most of us ignore the goings on of tippmann.  What is this new gun?  Is it the new space gun they're supposed to be coming out with that can shoot 67bps and run off of a AAA battery?

Its been out for long enough that everyone should know about it because its the first thing you see when you log onto the site.

That actually just shows how ignorant you are

My research has led me to the line of propane powered nail guns and staplers used in home building. Propane has been used to power very high end nail guns for years. They and the C-3 are constructed in a way to prevent dangerous amounts of propane to build up inside of the device. Only enough propane is allowed to enter the device to allow one cycle. It is enough to fire the device but not enough to explode or catch fire. As long as there are no leaks on the device there should be no chance for accidental fire. The nice thing about propane is that it has a smell so if there is a leak it will be easy to tell and quickly. The valve on the C-3 allows very little of the gas to escape anyway. I tested this by attaching a brand new $2.19 Coleman 16.4 ounce propane tank to the C-3 and charging the marker. I left the paintball marker overnight in the garage (I have Co2 monitors and smoke detectors in my garage in case of fire). I had weighed the tank prior to attaching it. The next day I found that the propane built up inside the paintball marker was not even enough to fire the C-3 and there was no propane smell in the area around the marker. The tank weighed the same as it did before attaching it.

I'm pretty sure that explosion was a reference to cadet's "planned mods", not the C-3 itself.
