Im sorry im sure this question has been posted thousands of times but I have been playing paintball for two and a half years. I have a 98 custom with expansion chamber and drop forward and tons of custom trigger mods. I want something faster and already was planning on getting a response trigger with a halo hopper. but then my friend told me he was selling his a5 with response and im totally hung up on what i should do. Should i keep my 98 custom and upgrade it and put the super rt on it or should i buy the a5 and keep the 98 as my back up?? Any help would be awesome thanks and my friend said he will sell his a5 with response and a CP barrel for 300
which i dont think is a good price but i can probably get him to bring it down so tell me what you thinkEdited by Rockonforever19 - 10 February 2006 at 6:01pm |

i would go whith the a-5, because it's easily cleaned and field striped (less than 60 sec), there is no need for a hopper, cause of cyclone fed. It will give you 15 bps and a 150ft+ range. You can also upgrade it almost as much as a 98c.

Stay with the 98c, get the Halo B, R/T, and do the "Super R/T" mod. The real problem with the A-5 is that the Cyclone limits you to 15 bps, while th Halo is over 20. Not to mention you'll be saving money. And you don't need a backup for a Tippmann, 98c or A-5.

cyclone will get up to 18 bps, thats if you do the Qev. mod correctly.
of the record, i've heard of 20 bps, but, i can't prove it.
