I got a 98c from a friend of mine seeing as I am grounded for a month. I am allowed to go out to the shop so I figured why the hell not, right?
After about 2 1/2 hours of work, I have a rough resemblence of what it will look like when finished. Before: After: ![]() ![]() Hope you all enjoy it. I should have it completely finished with the "milling" process as you all know it as by at most next weekend. If I get off work early tomorrow and Saturday I will work on it then. Polishing will come after that.------------------------------- Update February 25, 2006 To-Do List: Finish up "Milling" Clean up very, very, very carefully Polish Internals Trigger tweaking with help of Evil-98 Center Feed Then finally, eventually painting or polishing or both. Maybe some minor things like macro and such. *Italics are done Edited by Budlightisbest - 25 February 2006 at 2:01am |

Awesome job.
And you probably are going to do this already, but if you weren't planning on it: Mill the veloicty adjustment knub, "push safe" and "push fire" letters, and if you want the ridges on the sight rail (unless you plan on using a sight).

If you take off the grips, there is a rectangle piece on each side, get a hammer and a punchout tool and punch them out, it takes alot of the weight off.
