I found a reel nice oil to use on the marker, ProFast synthetic pneumatic tool oil. It is use on nail guns etc. but will work on anything pneumatic. I think it is much better than Hopps 9 . Just some info. - no affiliation - |

Been using the Senco stuff for years now.
Probably the same stuff. Works great..and much cheaper (free from work). |

The 3 in1 oil is ok for the metal parts but the reason special(SPECIFIC) oil is used and recommended in your marker is because of the O-rings and cup seals. Some oils will swell weaken or other bad things to the seals and O-rings. If you go to Home-Depot they have pneumatic oil by the air compressors, its worth it. |

I've been using Napa Air Tool oil on all of the rentals at my local field. The rentals of course being 98 Customs can't get enough of the stuff. Besides them I even use the oil on my Pneumag and have yet to have any problems.
$8 for a litre, can't go wrong. |
