light to me is anything under 2.5lbs(just the marker), if you cant handle that then you have problems.

45/4500ci tanks are the smallest profile, and are the lightest. But they don't offer many shots. If your looking for weight only... go with the 45/4500, but if your just looking for a small profile, then look into a stubby tank 72/4500 penut tanks.  They offer hella ammount of shots and they have a pretty low profile.

My Shocker and my Angel are both light guns. Of the two, I prefer the Shocker, it's a much tighter package. I use a 68/4500 tank, it's not too heavy, and it's got enough capacity for long play.

Pfft. Anything lighter than my old PMI-3 with dual tanks is light to me. However, today, I'd think that anything in the 2-2.5 pound range is going to be considered light. Your weight, however, really comes from your tank and hopper.

That reminds me, I should really take time to weigh my Species setup sometime.

Well 2.5 pounds is pretty light. But some guns are as light as 1.4 pounds, Shockers, Egos, Timmies. An Ion is 2.2, promaster is 1.9. Just so you get an idea.

Please for the love of god don't get a flatline.

This is why you shouldn't worry too much about weight issues.  By the time you load a tank and full hopper on the gun, you won't be able to tell light from heavy (except for some milsim rigs).  People who fuss over 3-4 ounces of weight on a paintball gun are silly.

You can go remote.  That will help to take off some of the weight.

Actually not all High ends are light. Imps are bricks, angels are bricks(Unless if it has corba frame) Pimps are bricks.

Like people here have said, getting a light gun won't make the most difference, you have to go with getting everything light.

For example:

Promaster - 1.9 lb
45/4500 - 1.9 lb

and your problem is still with the hopper... Electronic hoppers normally aren't light cause of the batteries.

yea i really hate how my marker weighs 20oz more after filling up

sarcasm aside, weights never really been an issue for me, i have a huge n2 tank (i went for the 70$ one so its pretty damn big compared to fiber wrapped ones) and its pretty damn heavy, its not bad though

How about a CCI Phantom? Light marker to begin with.. throw a 40 round winchester hopper on it and a 13ci 3000psi nitrogen tank on it and away you go! That would be in my mind the lightest way to go and still use a nitrogen tank..

If you want a light gun, grab an Ion and fiber 45/4500 and play with whatever motorized loader you like.
CCI Phantom... yes it's pump
3.5oz co2

Impulse
Eggy II
45 4500 fiber

98 Custom
