Topic: New bolt in Cyclone feed kit?Posted: 20 March 2006 at 10:58am |

My first post! I figured i'd wait until i had a legitamate question that i hadn't seen anyone ask yet. Have been thinking about the cyclone feed for my custom98, and asked a guy at the local store. He said something about the kit coming with a new bolt, and after looking on ebay, it seems like this is the case. Whats the story on this bolt? Is it required for the cyclone feed to work? If not, is it any better, and how so? |

I dont have any pics, but for example, look at this ebay page. Seems to include a new bolt. What do you think? |

New bolt! Where? I see the hopper, the feed mechanism, the actuation ram (and its gas connection) and a power tube (with its gas port).

He was probably referring to the power tube. You need to put the power tube in that comes with the Cyclone kit. It has an open port in the side where you screw the banjo fitting into.

I searched for posts about the cyclone feed system, read close to 20 or so, and none of them asked this question. They did, however ask the same question "will it fit"..."is it cool"... etc, all those other noob questions. I wasn't going to ask the question if i found it while searching, but i didnt find it, so i asked. I've used the internet and other types of forums enough to now that dudes like whatshisname up there will jump all over you if you ask a question w/o searching. Maybe give people a break, you don't know if they've searched or not. Suggest searching, don't demand it like you own the forum. |

We reserve the right to jump down your throat when you ask questions that wouldn't be asked if you had a take a little bit more time to either disassemble the marker to understand it or looked at one of the schematics of the marker. Besides searching in the forum, there are, on this web site, manuals and diagrams for all of Tippmann's products. Edited by Bruce A. Frank - 22 March 2006 at 2:06pm |

They haven't persay, asked the question. BUT it has been answered in the text of previous topics take this one thread the third reply, Snake6 states: "All you have to do is replace the stock powertube with the one with a hole in it(included), remove the stock feedneck, and hook up the cyclone. If you know how to follow instructions it is easy." answered right there Edited by Tippyprouser - 22 March 2006 at 12:43pm |
