My father just added a Collapsable CAR Stock to his A5 and Now he gets No velocity out of hit Gun...  I was told that the problem is that, most likely, his rear spring isn't getting enough Pressure, and that seems to be a problem with Rear stocks.. is this correct?  and if so, is there any place to get a stiffer rear spring, or alleviate this problem without just removing the rear stock?

Also... I'm looking to get a folding rear stock for my A5, will I run into the Same problem?

well, it's called a maddmann spring kit, it has a red spring in the kit that is much stronger than the stock spring, giving it higher velocity.I bought mine off ebay brand new for 12 bucks shipped, so its a cheap fix.

Some stocks cause this problem.  Sometime this can be fixed with a stronger drive spring, sometimes more drastic measures are required.

All you need to do is put more pressure on the drive spring.  This is easy enough to do with some type on insert/attachment on the stock endcap (the part that pushes against the drive spring).  More thickness there will put more pressure on the spring, which gives more velocity.  Presto.

Just keep in mind that more pressure on the drive spring = more air usage, so don't overdo it.

A bb (ball bearing, or bb gun ammo) or two in the end cap will tighten up the spring and bump up the velocity.
