airsoft is like paintball but they use replica guns that shoot .6mm plastic BBs

Yeah, but in theory, the balls have less mass, so SHOULD hurt less. In practice, well, I've seen some interesting pictures of after-action. Let's just say I've never had to dig a paintball out of my skin, or had to have a tooth capped because of a paintball hit.
There have been some Google vids out there about airsoft lately. Seems airsoft tends to be more "mission" oriented, less about the combat, more about the objective. You know, like paintball was back in 1990. |

no it doesnt hurt nealry as much as paintball because they fire so slowly but it is only fun in the winter when it is too cold to paintball and is is a blast indoors because it cant break glass.

Except that Airsoft projectiles can be fired at over 400 fps from some guns and still be safe. Less mass plus more speed does not equal more pain. |

airsoft is a sport plyed with guns that use either springs, or gas. They shoot between 100 and 600 fps. They shoot 6mm plastic bb's and they sting a little bit once you get hit.
