It looks like it has a cup feed system at the bottom like the apache and top loading. I think tippmann and Ricochet teamed up to many features are the same. EDIT: someone on AO just said this was teamed up with R5 industries and that why it has a lot of there features such as the bend sensor in all the R5 loaders and is patented by them also.
