but the ion is really expensive........249.99(on sale at my pbstore) then a 200$ tank. thats almost 500 dollers. is it that good to use 500 dollers on it?

hmmm i just saw that they really are $199 wow maybe i should of bought one of them and upped it with the $130 i would of saved nah but they are good guns, the promaster prolly wont be competitive with it now because of that price, hopefully they go down, then id get one |

A different barrel will help a little. I would say a carbon fiber St!ffi barrel(i have one on my A5...but it hardly makes it quieter. just looks purrrty). An expansion chamber will not make your gun quieter. it only helps balance the flow of co2 (in the process preserving o-rings) and a litte bit of accuracy.
