I refill my own CO2 tanks out of two larger tanks. I can not get a full fill for my 9oz but yet my 30# tank should have 5# in it yet. Both my tanks (20&30) are suppose to have siphon tubes but why can't I get all my CO2 out? The small tanks are cold when I am trying to refill them.

umm is there a guage that is set on the bigger tanks that only allows a certain amount into the 9oz, and CO2 is cold so dont worry about the tanks bein cold, its natural.

I weigh the small tanks as I am putting CO2 in them so they have the right amount.I know CO2 is cold but if your tanks is not cold you can not get it full that is why I said the tanks are cold.

Have you tried inverting the large tanks. I had a tank that was supposed to have a siphon tube. It didn't, but would fill the tanks well until about half full. Strange!

Don't know why the tanks do not have some type of designation on them as to whether they have a siphon tube or not.

Even when my tanks were filling properly many times when I got to 9 or 10 oz (weight) on the 20 oz bottle. I would have to bleed off an ounce or two to the chill the bottle further to get the additional CO2 to go in.
