Topic: Q-loader questionPosted: 16 April 2006 at 9:10pm |

i am new with the idea of the qloader. i was looking into it and it seems like a good idea. i talked to some friends about it, and one said it was dumb because even tho springloaded, you couldnt get the balls out of the tube that connects to the feed neck. I was wondering about how this works.

well, you dont really need the qloader, its mainly for high rates of fire, but if you dont like hoppers (like me) its a good investment, theres really no flaws in it, people say thats its hard to load the pods but it takes about 2 seconds to figure out how to do it..plus i also like the fact that it has "clips" instead of dumping pods into your hopper |

no problem. anyway, for a basically stock 98, a q-loader is a bit overkill. maybe a cheap electro hopper from your local sporting goods store will be a better choice. q-loaders are about 100+ dollars, and you just dont need to spend that money on a loader like that. just my opinion though.

yea. right now, i have a viewloader quantum that feeds like, 10 balls a second. i had to adjust the r/t to get it slow enough t feed for it. its a bit faster now and wors fine but i dont like how loud the quantum is. its always on when you flip the switch, and doesnt fit in the feed neck all too well. even tightend all the way, it still is a little loose. BTw, got the quatum with my wal-mart gun. lol

theres the pod part right? and then theres the small feedneck like tube that connects to the feen neck on your gun. how do the balls get out of that. doesnt the spring only go to the end of the pod? is there any way to make it connect on the top of the gun and feed directly into the feed neck? i saw a pic on the forum somewere that had it like that Edited by Farcry0092 - 16 April 2006 at 10:49pm |

theres a detent type thing in the end of the tube that keep the balls in the tube there. u basically always have balls in the tube thing unles su manually take them out. the only way to direct mount a qloader is to custom make somthing that lets you. Edited by DsXz - 16 April 2006 at 11:00pm |

That wouldnt work very well. The q-loader gets it speed from the fact that the balls are already lined up neatly and have a compressed spring behind them.

Is it possible to mount a q-loader anywhere besides directly under the barrel, since that space is occupied by a scepter 4000 grenade launcher on my A5. I really like the idea of a hopper-free marker, but I'm not sure I'd be willing to sacrifice the shock and awe factor of the gl to get it. Any thoughts? |
