hey, hopefully some of you remember my gun from last time, well i did some milling/work on it. what i did was take off the back site rail, then i lowered the top part of the gun about 1/3 of a centimeter, polished the internals to a mirror finish , i removed 98 custom and made the tippmann letters wavy, the velocity adjuster lip, push safe letters, warning on the back, some metal on the right reciever handle, i thinned the front handle a little, did the quick strip mod. im going tomorrow to get some primer since i cant go today since its easter. what type of spray paint primer should i get? like, what stuff is the best that wo'nt come off? but i'll repost some more tomorrow.

this picture was taken when i was finished sanding it

milled letters

another angle

quick strip mod, looks thick but thats because i put rubber glue in the crack for when i paint it, and so it makes the gun internals protected from getting shot

milled top of the gun(kinda hard to see)

milled recicver handle

what?

im doing "earth tones" how ever you say it but im thinking the dark grey.  it looks horrible right now, im not even half way done. i still need to smooth everything out and do some more work on it.

the crack isn't huge when you look at it in real life, and anyways, its a quick strip mod, theres supposed to be a crack there.

Would have made more sense to have done the whole thing, taking pics along the way, then post them all at once, so we can see the progress, not just a bucket o' yuck

ok, i ran out of sandpaper aboout halfway through getting the paint off, theres an assortment of colors because of the primer that i used last time. so i ended up using the dremel sanding bits, thats why it looks chopped up, but it isn't.  and yes i will post the pictures of it before and after

what?

That's gross.  You should probably send it in to somebody like Evil-98 or Murdoc who know's what they are doing.

just wait till its finished then you can decide.  and the primer will change the look of it.  im getting sandpaper a little later and im working on removing all of the paint from whats already on there. and im also doing detail work with the file. and people, im telling you, it is not bad when you look at it and hold it. the pictures make it look 10x worse than what it actually is, some of the areas where the dremel missed may look deep, but they are not able to be felt when you run your hand over it.  but anyway what type of primer should i use for it?

Yeah uhmm...It really doesnt look smooth at all where you took off the 98 custom lettering. It looks like you went wayyyy too deep.

i noticed that when i first did it i already worked on that and made the whole area even
