i have an old Targa its a silver spyder clone with a vertical tank adapter and right now it is a pump,,, whenever you cock it and shoot the bolt goes forward and rattles only shooting one ball and you have to recock it EVERY TIME ,,, if anyone knows how to fix it ,, has any ideas or knows where i can buy Targa parts or spyder clone parts then please post!!

you need to replace or oil your striker o-ring. this is the o-ring on the hammer and in most spyders it is red but on clones its usualy the same color as the others. It can be if its the same as the others you can just use one of your spare o-rings that come with the gun or there should be a spare red one if it is red. just remember to put a drop of oil on it before reinstalling. I recomend oiling the o-ring before replacing it because this will probly do it. As normal maintnance you should completely clean your bolt and hammer and re-oil the o-rings every 3-4 cases of paint. If you dont know how to get to the hammer it just put your thumb on the velocity adjuster to prevent it from shooting out and pull the pin out of the side of the marker then carefuly allow the spring to come out. now just pull the bolt out and underneath it the hammer will be attached. when reasembling make sur the open en of the hammer faces the back. |
