PEP semi-auto pistol (Yes, seriously)

thing is yes, most of the tine that should work, however, some idiot would get the idea in their head to try and goof around and fire as many clips as fast as possible, firing the whole clip, swapping it out real quick and putting in another fully loaded one a repeating until the gun is overheated

also, the main problem with the PEP technology is being able to make a consistant marker. having a rapid fire marker would cause many fluxes in temperture. one of the things with the C3 is that is has to have a custom special barrel that resists heat, and does not expand or contract as much, but if you keep firing at a good rate of fire, even for a pump, the barrel starts to get inacurate because the size of the barrel changes and the paint size to barrel bore match gets thrown off, making inaccuracies. now just imagine with me someone using a semi auto marker, even ignoring the fact of burning your hands... just think......how fast can a C3 go? not very fast because its a pump. but still you can start to make the barrel inaccurate because you heat it to high and gets to a different size. now if that can happen with a pump, just imagine what would happen with someone shooting the thing off at 15+ BPS. another side note, don't you think that the paintballs would melt or at least be deformed while being shot threw a hot barrel?

anyways...... PEP still has a long way to go. if done correctly and enough effort is put into it, it is possible for a propane powered semi auto marker, but not yet. the technology is still in its infancy and needs to work out some of the kinks such as the "hand warmer effect" and the "overheated barrel".
