    Posted: 26 May 2006 at 12:00am

Hey guys, I have a Tippmann A-5 with a Responce Trigger installed, I installed it myself.

My problem is that It doesnt really work. I have messed with it extensivly, probably shot 1000 or so test shots, and still no full auto.

I can feel something happening, I get resistance when I turn it way down, and sometimes a 2-3 shot burst when I turn it up, but thats all. It really bugs me.

I have heard of many people having trouble with HPA and R/Ts, what is the problem with them? and why doesnt it work? The package says that it works with HPA, but it doesnt?

You guys have probably heard this 100x before but I couldnt find any topics on it, so I thought that I would post here.

Thanks for the help.

I've had it for about 2 months, and I've tried pretty much everything. Talked to every guy at they field with one, and some say its the HPA, and others just cant figure it out.

You have to hold down the trigger with just enough pressure to trip the
sear. The r/t will "bounce" the trigger back to the starting position. The
pressure on the trigger will then bring the trigger to trip the sear. I hope
this helps.

It shouldn't be next to impossible to get to the right "sweet spot" on the trigger shouldn't it? I've tried alot, and so have others, who have R/T's on their guns too. But no luck.

Sometimes the R/T works better with CO2 because CO2 normally has a higher output pressure than HPA. The best thing to do is to call Tippmann and get the larger 1/8th hoses and fittings.

even with the fittings+hose it works better with co2  which is why my RM will be using my hpa tank and my tippy will be strictly anti syphon co2

if you use co2 its imperative that you get a reg, and a good one
