Internal valve leak

Here's the scoop. I just recieved an r/t the other day, unfortunately I bought if off of Ebay, and i recieved instructions for an E-grip installation.  Anyways I think i figured out how to install it, just not tune it yet.  Now here is my problem, when I was switching powertubes from the stock to the one for the r/t I of course had to switch the internal valve.  And when I re-screwed my expanision chamber into the internal valve I think some of the threads might have gotten cross-threaded.  i put some thread seal on and when I hooked up the air i noticed a very small air leak coming from the threads where the expansion chamber screwed into the internal chamber. Now the leak isn't enough to hinder the performance of the gun, but would it be enough to hinder my r/t because the plunger on my r/t doesn't come out fully on the trigger. 

Also I do plan on calling Tippmann and ordering another just for kicks.  But would a small leak such as this cause my r/t to act funny.

It is just a small leak from the threads where the hose fitting screws into the power valve? Either tighten the fitting further into the power valve or reinstall the fitting using Blue gel type thread locker (blue is the softer stuff that allows easy removal with standard wrenches). Once installed with the Blue gel LocTite or Permatex you can use it immediately. Go here:Marker Trouble?
