For the hopper I suggest something along the lines of the cyclone feed or a viewload evolution. You could also spring for the more expensive halo b.
As for the air tank, Crossfire makes nice tanks. A very common size would be 68/4500. Look around on ebay to find a good deal. |

What is your budget like?
If you have a lot of money go for an Empire Reloader B. I dont have air so I cant help you there. And if by "air" you mean "CO2" then all tanks are pretty much the same. |

It is not bad but probably won't feed as fast as you need to. The SSL-200's are decent though, I have heard.

Cheap + Good Quality + Fast = Cyclone
The cyclone is also good because water wont hurt it and it doesnt take batteries. |

If you are using co2 your going to want to get an expansion chamber so you won't freeze up. The cyclone is cheep and will feed as fast as you can shoot.

Get a palmers if you can afford it, great for C02 and if you upgrade to air later it can be used with that too. Cyclones are great in the fact that you don't need batteries or worry about it whirring away whilst you are'nt doing anything (in the case of cheaper e-hoppers).
But if you were to go that way I have heard good things about the SSL-200, the AL is cheaper but its not as 'Smart' (Doesnt have the sensor, so it just keeps agitating the balls forever till you turn it off) and its slower, so it prolly won't keep up with a RT going fair whack. |

You have to consider what you really want. A cyclone will use a little more C02 and of course will open up a whole new line of problems waiting to happen. And of course you can upgrade it with all the stuff(QEV, new rachet and whatever else you can do to them to make them faster). So by the time you have spent all the money on the cyclone to make it cycle as fast as an egg or maybe halo you could have purchased one of those in the first place and save yourself time and money. I would also rather spend money on batteries then refilling my tank more often although it might not make that much of a difference. So with a cyclone your gonna get more problems and want to upgrade it more, as with a electronic hopper you shoudln't experience many problems and you can always get a new board for it. So it's all what you prefer really. |

if you know anything about the cyclone, you'd know that it uses EXCESS gas, not extra gas. there's no loss in efficiency with or without a cyclone. and a stock cyclone will feed more than fast enough for a regular R/T. |

Cyclone ~ could not be happier with it, works flawless and no batteries . Have never had a single problem with it , gas consumption as stated above it uses excess gas so its a no brainer when u evaluate operating cost . Batteries cost money and wreak havoc on the enviroment.

WTF what ? ? Where do you think they go when you toss or dont you care ? They just mysteriously dissapear ? Outta sight outta mind ? They are so damn toxic its not funny . Someone has to give a shi* someday and heh WTF why not now . Just making an observation relax . How many batteries have you contributed from your E hopper myself I'm happy to say none as I don't use battery's because I dont have to , exactly the point brought up about the cyclones. If your going to use batteries at least use rechargeable . But if you have a tippmann and are woodsballing get the cyclone no batteries, no cost, no pollution .
