Miami Vice

Just went to go see it in theaters, highly reccomend it.  There were a few parts that they said a bunch of stuff and couldnt understand it, but its not like it had a major impact on the movie so GO SEE IT

 

 

 

PS....just found out Dane Cook is coming out with a movie CANT WAIT

I am surprised that there was dialogue that managed to make it past you without you understanding, what with your descent GPA and all. 

What you need to concider about some poor reviews that you may be hearing is that the people giving the review might be fans of the old TV show. This movie is NOT a remake of the TV show, nor do they even try to emulate much about it becides the fact that the movie includes police officers in miami. Dismiss any notion of seeing Don Johnson in this and be prepaired to be dropped into a serious crime drama that far exeeds any of the Law and Order TV shows.

I would definitely recommend it to you Cedric.

ive heard its great, rolling stone loved it, and i like that kind of movie, im prolly gonna see it soon

now, this is by no means a good review, since I was in a chemically altered state for the duration of the movie, but it seemed pretty good to me. Not quite as good of a shoot-out as I expected from a Mann film. It was by no means as good as HEAT, but not really a bad movie at all. It definatly had great cinematography.

I hate that. I hate that a lot. Why the hell make a movie with the impression that it's a carry over of an old show and then have nothing to do with it? What a cheap way to cash in.

I finally saw the new Pirates movie. I was bored as hell. Not good in my opinion.

Also saw Descent, for free. Not a bad horror movie. Definetly some parts, non-monster related, that made no sense or seemed very, very unlikely. i.e. Stringy book-worm looking lady making an incredibly difficult rock-climb. The movie could have been far creepier without the monsters at all. The cave exploration was claustrophobic and anxiety inducing on its own.
