Your in the middle of a game your team mate calls to you screaming "im pinned down!!! help!!" you run to his aid but the first shot you fire chops a ball. Now you must clean out your barrel or you wont hit a darn thing. my question is... what do you think could be done to help speed up the prosess of cleaning the barrel out FAST. |

y would u stop in the middle of a fire fight to clean ur barrle. untless u have some horrible blockage, ur gun will still shoot. it may not have good range or any accuracy but at least u can get some heads down and maybe turn the tables.

Im talking about a way to clean it out fast while still moving around. like having some kind of rod under the barrel that is attached by a swivel. |

Cleaning a Barrel during a Firefight is fool hardy (regardless if the Game is a regular game of Woodsball or a Scenario), you would be giving the Opposing Team/Player the opportunity to move in on your position on the field and not being observent of their movements because, you are to busy pulling out a squeegie or a swab thus, being taken out possibly from behind or from the sides or even get Bunkered.

I clean in the middle of the shooting all the time. Battleswab in my pocket does the trick.

A gun is not a weapon... It's a tool. Like a butcher knife, or a harpoon, or...uh, a...an alligator. |

ok how about this... having a swing out barrel. the barrel would still be attached to the gun. the receiver would be in two peices front and back. the front would be attached be a single large pin or screw. at the bottom there would be a spring loaded catch. on the left side of the reciever there would be a spring loaded (cleaning rod) ball break-- pull the catch down while swinging the barrel left & up. (the swing out barrel would have a stop at which would line up the barrel & rod) push the rod lever forward into the barrel. let go... the rod springs back. swing the barrel back to normal....FIRE that prosess would take 3-5 seconds |

shoot at em (I know u wont hit em but itll make em take cover for a lil bit) then hide hold ur gun upside down and fire it a couple times, it should get a lot of the paint out, then resume battle.

use a straight shot squeegie. i think tippmann makes them now. if you're really screwed, take your barrel off and blow a well-fitted paintball through it. it should help alot. it's a trick i learned once while playing stock-class. i think it's kinda neet, because noone else thinks to do it, that way. |

Pin Locked Barrels such as those from the Palmer Pursuit Shop is what you should thinking about but, the problem is that those Barrels wont work on any of the Tippmann Markers, theyre only made for Palmer Markers only such as a Blazer (God, I wish I can afford a Blazer).
