This is starting to anger me, I just don't get it....
If I get 4 -220 Watt Speakers and a 300 Watt Speaker Box and A sub of unknown wattage, what kind of amp would I need, I have two speakers in my front doors and two mounted in the trunk to the part by the windshield, and I just wanted to set the speaker ox in there, mounted to the floor,and put the sub in there somewhere. Speaker Box -  Pioneer Speakers -  I haven't decided on any given sub or anything like that, and I'm not buying the box from the police site. I'm just looking for a system since everyone else in town has one, and I kinda feel left out.... So what, I'm allowed to collapse under peer pressure and buy an expensive sound system I don't need too...

i think you can just run the speakers off the deck. youll almost definitely want a seperate amp for your sub. i think, just guessin.

Uh, thanks, but I wanna keep my car from overheated wires burning it down... More seriously though, I don't know what a deck is is it a head unit? if so, I have a new one of those, but by what you're saying, I can run all 9 of the speakers from the deck(head?) and get an amp for my sub? If that's right then all I need basically is a rundown of everything I need what size/type amp I need and include small stuff like wiring kits and the such... you may need to get it installed professionally, sounds like you are not too knowledgeable with the basics if stereo installations. Gather more info. before doing it yourself. You may cross wires and short out your entire system and there goes your investments.
