Went to the gun show here today and picked up this real AK stock.
After some minor surgery and the addition of the Tippmann A5 rear plug (after removal of the sling swivel) I ended up with this AK stock mod. I thought it turned out pretty well and it only took about 10 minutes. A quick and easy mod.
Here's a better photo. Now I just have to do the front handguard over. ![]() Edited by nauzerlvr - 10 September 2006 at 9:47am |

The stock was only $29.00 and I had to mod it to make it fit. An easy mod though. |

Questions are fine. The stock has a wooden "plug" int he back. Once you cut that off it leaves a nice smooth area. You simply drill a large diameter hole then remove the sling ring from the stock A5 rear plug and fit it in. Use epoxy. Then drill a small hole through the center of the the A5 plug after gluing it and screw in a medium length wood screw. |

Why is everyone concerned about weight on a paintball gun? I own a real
AK47 and avidly run miles with it. My A5 is no where near as light and
all i do is walk around the field with it.
