Don't use CO2, atleast for the promaster..........., you'll ruin the
gun. The Promaster has the regulator adjusted roughly between
200-300, and I'm not sure how low the LPR goes....do some more research.

don't buy somthing from Spyder... I'm serious. Unless your a BRAND new
player, don't spend more then $80 for a spyder. They fall apart after
about 50 games, no joke.... If your looking into getting your
feet wet in the Electro world for a decent price. Look into getting a
E-Custom Pro w/ACT then throwing either an eVLoution II hopper on their
or putting a Cyclone on one. Good thing about Tippmanns is that they
don't even get phased off C02 and usally when someone is "limited" on
funds, C02 is usally there best bet for them. Also a E-CP is Cheaper
even with a Feeder-system and marker then what you'd pay for an
Electra/ProMaster, and they are just as fast and Tippmanns can take
"Newb Abuse" very well.

I dont want a tippmann anymore. Im tired of my a5. will the promaster hold up to the high end guns in speedball? how many shots can I get from a cheap 3000 psi tank? Now if I can get the DEAL-OF-THE-YEAR like one of the guys i played with sat.(shocker for $280) then I will go with that. I just want a good speedball gun. not an ION... well maybe

Promaster will hold its own against almost ALL the guns out there will very few upgrades. If you get a new valve, reg, and lpr,(prolly wont get it though), i dont remember the exact number, but someone was getting rediculous efficiency and pressure(mainly because of the valve(empire red?), so..) But the promaster will definitly hold its own. On average people will tell you with 3000psi tanks, multiply the ci by 10, but with the promaster you will def. get more, like my impulse, the promaster is somewhat like an impulse( atleast in careing for it) i get amazing efficiency, idk how much because i have yet to finnish my 88/45 in a day, but i plan on figureing it out eventually. |

I just got done modding my 5 dollar spyder victor. All stock parts and a spring kit, I've got it reliably cycling at 200 psi. Really I can't see anything to fall apart in a Spyder. Maybe a new cup seal and o-rings. I broke a 1/4" industrial drill bit along with 6 or 7 other bits trying to drill the striker. The case hardened steel is, well....very hard.
