stock markers. YAY!!

Now that that over, we have all seen stock C-3's, we dont need to see your C-3 with a revvy on it. Do something custom with it and then come back.

I can't really think of any custom.....if you have an idea tell me. I was thinking of macro-lining it... not sure if it's safe or if it'll allow me too

I'm wondering on what paint.. after all the gun does get pretty hot, I could paint the handle.. or I could get someone to make a custom aluminum one which would be pretty nifty.... I'll get on that.

Heh, I was thinking of strapping a zippo to the barrel.. I wonder if that would make some nifty fire-effects? if I was going to do anything like paintballs on fire I would soak them overnight, load them, turn the zippo on at the tip of the barrel, fire, the flame would instantly ignite them...squirrels-be-gone

paint it with duracoat...they make a paint that can withstand the temperatures of a hot barrel of a real gun, up to 1200 degrees i think.

That doesn't work. In wich gun is best read Tippman  c-3 myths debunked, it would be really helpful to a C-3 owner.

Thinking about it...

Now that's just fun to say!

In a similar vein, we had a squirrel in our office yesterday.  Don't know how it got in, but we could have saved 15 minutes of running around with 1 well-placed fireball.

Meh, I actually gave up on my C-3... It finally broke paint in the gun.... wow... you need atleast an hour to get everything in the right position after cleaning it.. and the way it's designed, if you break a ball, it squirts through the entire barrel and the BOLT is INSIDE the barrel.. so no matter what squeegee you use, you can NOT get your gun clean w\o taking it apart... which is such a hassle.. I'm actually sending my C-3 BACK to D*cks sporting goods and I'm going to spend half of the refund on some visual mods for my A-5, the rest I'll just add to my bank account... until they fix the design of the bolt\barrel.. I am staying away from the C-3.. It fired accurate and all that.. but once you get a chop, it's game over. No easy stripping here.

get a grav hopper or better yet, a feed tube, paint it with krylon grill paint that is resistant to heat, make an 8-ball pump handle, and get new grips

..........you have never dealt with a C-3, that's quite obvious. If you CHOP on the field, you are DONE. To take the barrel off you basically have to loosen all the screws, this also allows the trigger spring to fly out, and the pins that hold the trigger in. The barrel and bolt are 2 in 1... that means the BOLT is inside the BARREL, so no matter what squeegee you use, your bolt is still soaked in paint so even after you squeegee, the paint inside the bolt still catches fire so it requires you to strip it.. man atleast use the gun before you try to say anything.
