Your refs gonna actually do something about cheaters?

That's one of the reasons I haven't bothered since TWC V ...
If I attack, follow me

If I flee, kill me

If I die, avenge me

There wasn't any problems last year. The ref staff was totaly new and twice the size as a few years ago.

Infact Billy Gardner said that the reffing at Hell Survivors was the best he had ever seen when he came out and played last year.

You should come back out and check it out for yourself!

Are the "parking space" camp sites still $100/day?

They certainly were the last time I was there.
I still have the receipt.

No sense in arguing about something so trivial as price gouging.

If we go we will more than likely camp down the road.

edit: just got off the phone with them. Prices are $100 for the entire weekend per site, beginning on Friday.
Which is not quite as bad. Although since we need 2 sites for our team...
She did say that camping was cheaper last year and that pricing and availability depends on the game. Apparently they fiddled with the pricing in 2k3 and it didn't go over well, so they changed it again.
She is sending me a camp map and all the particulars via snail mail.

There are also campsites right up front for only $60- for the whole weekend.

You're assuming I had anything at all to do with the scheduling.

DAMMIT. I wanted to, and could afford to go for the first time this year.

All you old guys could possibly be dead by next year.

This past summer's TWC had alot of excellent play, setting aside the field paint prices and how bad the case of paint I had was.  I've never encountered paint this bad before so I don't think I handled the situation properly.  Rather than using the paint I should of exchanged the case.  It was broke on alot of faces anyway =)  Many people got good cases from what I heard.  Still too expensive.

For those who know the way games used to be at TWC I felt that the game on Sunday was exceptional.  There were battles all over the field as opposed to two sections of the road.  I spent zero time in the Ville and it went basically unused(very unusual).  The crowds were WAAAAY down, the caliber of player seemed to be up, insertions are first rate and the fill station situation is top notch.

Sunday was kind of a muppet mow for me.  World dominated Tippmann but for those who know, World's game plan is still non-existant, so we just spent all day mowing people down, grabing the flags and then everyone would leave the flag unattended and walk away.  It was so much like clock work that you'd think that the plan was to leave flags totally unattended.  I'd say people that played on either team would agree that it was a good game. The Tippmann side could run their little special operations and crawl thru the mud and stuff and World team got to operate as a muppet mowing squad with a bunch of players "getting their own"

With the exception of the jacked up paint prices this is a can't miss game IMO and for those that have a World gun and a Tippmann, if you don't play on the World side at least 1/2 your playing time you're a big chicken to play outnumbered.
