I am new to the whole modding your pb gun thing, but I do kno a little about guns.

I bought a Drop Forward kit for my 98C. I was wondering, do I need to buy a new Gas Line? Or is there any way I can unscrew the Gas Line right now from the stock piece thats on there right now?

Answer ASAP because I'm going paintballing this Sat. and need to put that piece on my gun ASAP.

Alright, make sure your air-supply is off the marker (CO2 Tank) and that the marker is fully discharged of air. Now, you can un-screw the ASA (the part the CO2 tank screws into) from the bottom of the '98. To take the air-lines off , you will need either an adjustable wrench or a box-wrench of the proper size. Simply un-bolt the fitting from the asa and re-attach it to the asa on the drop-forward. Use a little teflon tape around the treads on the air-line to keep it from leaking (one or two wraps around the threads works well). You MAY need a different gas-line though depending on the severity of the drop forward, otherwise, you may wind up with a section of your line that bulges out and can get caught on limbs and brush as you play.
<Removed overly wide sig. Tsk, you know better.>
