Which one should I get? I like the looks of the VS2, but I dont know if I can put a high pressure tank on it. I know its low presure, but I wouldnt have enough for a lp tank (I think).

Id go with the ion, BUT, ive never shoot a VS2, ive only held it, and i dont like the feel of them for some reason. The grip frame just seems smaller i think. And, in the long run, if you plan on upgrading, definitly go with the ion, there are so many oportunities with it. |

Go with the Ion. There is a lot more you can do with it than any of the VS series of guns.

I own both kinds of those guns right now. I love my ion. very quiet, light weight, very fast, very small in size.
the VS2 is very fast too. my local shop said the VS2 Virtue boards will be in soon (cant wait!!) I would have liked it to be a little smaller & lighter. the VS2 CAN run on CO2, but it likes HPA better. a LP tank will work fine (thats what I run on it) buy the adapter & put a different inline reg on it & it will be much better. yes there is not a whole lot of ups for it right now, but what do you expect... the gun was only just released in December. next time your at the field/shop try them both out & see what you like better. |
