Gun Lubrication

The marker comes pretty much ready to shoot as it is in the box .

and to answer your next question , the lube that comes with your marker from the factory is Hoppe's GUN LUBE #9 , it doesnt hurt anything , including the o-rings in your marker , most oils will suffice .

It is NOT reccommended to use synthetic oils for jubrication , because some will degrade the o-rings , as yet I have not experienced this , and do use synthetics to some degree in my markers .

For best performance and most reliability , it is a good idea to clean and lube your marker after each full day of use , I like to add a few drops of oil into the ASA (where your CO2 tank screws in) and dry fire the marker about 20-30 times to lubricate the internal workings of the valve . BUT be sure to remove the barrel from your marker before you add the oil to the ASA and dont re-install it untill after you've dry fired it . Oil in the barrel is going to foul your barrel and affect the accuracy quite a bit (you can remove the barrel and wash it in hot soapy water if this does happen , but why make more work for yourself ?)

Out of the box you won't need to oil it.

however after your first day out, or once you have put a full air tank through,  would think a drop or two of oil won't hurt.

i usually oil my marker the day before i am going to use it. i dont know why, but its a habit ive developed over the years. (making sure my gun is in perfect working order before i head out)

the ASA trick shadowminion mentioned is the simplest and easiest way to do it. personally i drop one extra drop onto the oring on my rear bolt and another in the receivers behind the bolt for the sear/drive spring. but you dont need to do that.
