High or Low pressure refers to the tank output. High output tanks have an output pressure of ~800 psi. Low pressure tanks have an output pressure of ~400 psi.

1. A low pressure output tank may/will not provide enough pressure to make the marker function...unless you have installed a Low Pressure Kit (LPK). 2. With the standard Custom Pro, no mods, there should be no problems alternating between CO2 and HPA...other than the standard "problems" associated with CO2 (velocity spikes, rapid fire chilling and the related pressure shoot down...and so on) If you add a regulator and want to continue to switch back and forth make sure you select a regulator that can handle CO2. BTW if you chrono with one you absolutely have to re-chrono if you switch to the other. Though the pressures are technically the same, the quirkiness of CO2 make that re-chrono mandatory. |
