Yeah, I need new shoes.  I Designed up a pair in Nike ID to impersonate a pair that a favorite singer of mine has.  Plus I think that they're pretty fly.

Here

Thoughts?

I have a pair of Nike SB Classics. They are suede light Brown with black accesories and logos. Best shoes I have ever bought. I get compliments on them all the time. Had a "gangster" in my spanish class that was like "Those are some nice shoes." I get compliments from older folks to. They look nice enough to actaully wear with fancier clothes and I do. I also skate with them and all I have to do is spray them with the hose if they ever get dirty and they look brand new.

I don't like the high shoes. I don't know how well you would look like with those shoes on. Got any pics of you in casual clothes?

Err, not that I know of Robo.  I'll try to get one tomorrow.

I just personally love the high top shoes, I think they look, well, "g" I guess.

Right now I'm rocking a pair of Lakai's.  These to be exact:

My last pair of suede shoes managed water fairly well, however I never tried to douse them with a hose.

I always thought suede and water was a big no no. I guess I am wrong though.

Many people think suede and water is really bad, but they work perfectly together for me. I can be in the rain and they won't get damaged.

Ugh.  Still beautiful in my eyes.

I just need a new pair fairly soon.  My Lakai's are wearing down (The fabric in the heel is gone so the plastic stabs me, and the rubber on the bottom is coming off).

Unless you always wear yellow and green, they're going to clash with everything IMO.

Nah, real suede does not like water *AT ALL*. Hardly anyone uses real suede anymore though.

True suede leather is very fragile.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suede

"Due to its textured nature and open pores, suede becomes dirty quickly and is especially susceptible to stains. As it is not washable, but must instead be cleaned carefully with special suede cleaners, it is not recommended for daily-wear items. When suede gets wet, it turns a darker color and can become damaged easily, as water drives out the essential oils that keep suede leathers supple. It is difficult to waterproof or stain-proof suede leather, though some manufacturers claim varying levels of success."

Please don't get those. You will realize your mistake when your only pair of shoes clashes with everything you wear.
